Education

A graduate of the École normale supérieure (Normalienne)in Law, Economics and Management and agrégée in Economics-Management (specialist in General Business Law).

She also holds a degree from Sciences Po Paris (Masters 2 in Markets and Regulatory Law) and holds a Masters in European Law and European Policy Management (Magistère) (École normale supérieure of Cachan – Université Rennes I).

She also studied law at McGill University in Montreal.

Experience 

Delphine Dendievel is a co-founding partner of Apostrophe, a commercial law firm exclusively dedicated to dispute resolution and corporate risk prevention.

Apostrophe offers its clients comprehensive expertise in commercial litigation, white-collar crime, real estate litigation, internal investigations and compliance.

Before co-founding Apostrophe in January 2021, Delphine Dendievel practised for eight years in the Business Litigation and White-Collar crime department of the Anglo-Saxon law firm AO Shearman LLP.

Apostrophe assists French and foreign companies in all sectors of activity (industry, finance, retail, technology, real estate, etc.) in the following areas:

  • Complex and strategic business litigation of all kinds (including commercial, corporate and M&A, real estate, banking and financial disputes), including cross-border disputes;
  • Criminal and regulatory proceedings (economic and financial criminal law, tax law, labour law, real estate law);
  • Conducting internal investigations in France and internationally (fraud, corruption, sexual and psychological harassment, violation of regulatory requirements or safety obligations, duty of care, etc.);
  • Implementation of anti-corruption and CSR/duty of care compliance programmes (risk mapping, third-party assessment, code of conduct/ethics charter, ethics hotline, etc.), as well as regulatory compliance and DGCCRF/DDPP controls.

Thanks to her comprehensive dual training in Law and Economics, Delphine Dendievel pays particular attention to the economic and operational aspects of the cases she handles.

She has also been teaching for several years at Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University, as part of the Master 2 Arbitration and International Trade Law programme (‘Advanced Conflict of Jurisdictions Law’), and regularly lectures at the Sciences Po Paris Law School.
